I've been putting this off for a long time... I was very intimidated by the shear volume of photos... there are a lot and a lot and a lot of photos from the wedding. Some of them are really good too, but all of them are priceless. Here's one view of the wedding from the pre-wedding parties and preparations to the ceremony and more partying ending with the clean-up (yes we cleaned up our own wedding--we ain't no fancy folks).
First day in Avalon--we arrive to the humongous rental house. On the bay and the "bridal suite" had been very nicely renovated about 10 years ago... how do I know this for sure? I painted the damn house!
In the above photo, Loraine and Tom were in no way posing in front of the chalkboard with a special message.

Day before: planning where to put stuff
At night, we had a pre-wedding party at Bob's house--Bob's mom Pauline made a whole bunch of good food. Bob was afraid that too many people would come... by 8pm there weren't too many people there and Bob started worrying that no one would come. By 9pm the place was hoppin' with nearly all the south Jersey people, Florida people, California people, Seattle people, and Philly people--even people in town for another wedding! Highlights were the peanut buttter and chocalate candies made by Pauline and the "Game Over" T-shirt given to me by the Chapman brothers.
Bob's house is nice, but it's not finished yet

Chris Whitey, Brookie, and me still in the sweet sport coat

Bob, Jenny H., Dump, Chip C., Davis M., Lissa, and Slug

A bunch of people

Some more people and fire

Yeah, this happened. Patchy, Tim, Sander, Scott P.
The next day was the wedding day, but we didn't just sit back and relax... we had work to do:

From the bayside of things

It looks so calm

The tents looked really fancy. And pretty with the green wetlands in the background.

I felt special to have this honor.

That freakin' tub was heavy--cast-iron--and we carried it all the way from the road to this point. My father-in-law decided it was a good photo-op and he was right.
